Very ominous sky, but doesn't blend well with the buildings from my perspective. Again, seems like cut and paste images...

You're right, the picture is kinda' documentation about the weather, so it's not a composed professional picture, I've made just to show what was the weather like on that day :)

Again, it's a HDRi. :D

Thanks for your comment.

familiar with HDR, but haven't used it. I understand it helps with the separation of dark & light, and makes for some really dramatic - almost surrealistic scene photography. I guess I'm just not buying it in this image. Sorry if I sound like an annoying pain in the a$$, but I've seen allot of people photomaniping the crap out of everything they shoot lately and then turn around and call it "Photography".
:iconhellpics:
Well, I think it depends, I mean you could always manipulate the crap out from a photo, or you could leave as-is. Sometimes you don't even touch one of your photos, but sometimes with manipulating it, you could create something new, which (in my point of view) also has a value. :)

I think if you could keep the balance between both kind of your photos, than you're on the right way.

I don't want to protect my work, as I mentioned before, it's just a documentation photo, with a (I have to say) unique weather condition.

I'm glad someone was not said "ohh, my God, wow etc."

Cheers!
